How Long Does Japan Crate Take to Ship?

If you’re excited about getting your hands on the latest Japan Crate goodies, you’re probably wondering how long it takes to get them to your doorstep. However, it can take a bit to ship considering it’s coming from Japan. Japan Crate ships all its packages within 48 hours of receiving an order. In most cases, the packages will arrive within a week or two depending on the destination. Outside of Japan, the delivery time can vary depending on the country, but it usually takes no more than two or three weeks. Japan Crate also offers express shipping in some countries so you can get your package even faster.

Japan Crate was nice enough to send me a crate to review and mine took exactly two weeks, which was great considering it was sent during the Christmas season.

Review: Is Japan Crate Worth It?

Japan Crate is one of the most popular subscription boxes for Japanese snacks and candy. But is it actually worth the money? The answer for all subscription boxes is that it depends. For the price, Japan Crate offers an incredible variety of snacks and candy from all over Japan. With each box, you’ll get a mix of classic favorites, like Pocky and Ramune, as well as unique treats that you won’t find anywhere else. Plus, each box comes with an exclusive Culture Guide, so you can learn more about the country, its culture, and its people. If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Japanese snacks, Japan Crate is definitely worth it.

The price can be a bit steep at $49.95 per month (less if you order more in advance). However, factoring in the free shipping, convenience, and the cost each individual item, the total price is not actually a bad deal. That is however, as long you don’t live in Japan already. The price to buy these snacks in Japan would be relatively cheap; however, to import these to the U.S. for example, would be a lot more expensive. Not to mention that these items by themselves would be difficult and tedious to find. So if you’re actually interested in trying Japanese snacks and don’t live in Japan, then Japan crate offers a great deal and is definitely worth it.
